Jenin: A 20-year-old Palestinian, Karim Samer Tawfiq Jabarin, was killed by Israeli forces during a raid on Jenin camp on Tuesday evening, local sources reported. According to Maan News Agency, Israeli troops surrounded a house in the camp, deploying live ammunition and "Energa" shells. The raid resulted in the death of Jabarin, who was inside the house at the time. The Israeli forces subsequently detained his body. The General Authority for Civil Affairs confirmed the incident to the Ministry of Health. The operation in Jenin began earlier in the evening as Israeli forces entered the city and its camp from the directions of Jalameh military checkpoint and Salem camp. This action was reportedly in response to the detection of an Israeli special force in the area. During the incursion, several explosions were heard, and drones were observed flying intensively over the camp. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society also reported that during the raid, a 60-year-old citizen was shot and injured. Additionally, five other residents, including three women, were assaulted by the Israeli army. All injured parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment. This incident has escalated the death toll in the West Bank to 756 since October 7, 2023, which includes 165 children. Moreover, more than 6,250 citizens have been reported injured in varying degrees since that date, as per the records of the Ministry of Health.
