Kuwait city: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) reported a decrease in the Kuwaiti oil price by 31 cents, settling at USD 74.15 per barrel on Wednesday, down from USD 74.46 the previous day. According to Kuwait News Agency, the announcement made by KPC on Thursday highlighted the fluctuating trends in global oil markets. Concurrently, the price of Brent crude experienced a slight decrease of three cents, bringing it to USD 74.22 per barrel. In contrast, the West Texas Intermediate crude saw a more notable decline, dropping 19 cents to USD 70.39 per barrel. The minor adjustments in oil prices come amidst varying international market pressures and are reflective of the ongoing volatility in global energy markets.
