JERUSALEM: Al-Quds University has been ranked first in Palestine and 52nd in the Arab world according to the QS World University Rankings 2025 for the Arab region, marking a significant academic achievement. The university outperformed 11 other Palestinian universities in this international classification and was placed among 246 Arab universities, underscoring its dedication to enhancing academic and research performance at both local and regional levels. According to Maan News Agency, the President of Al-Quds University, Prof. Imad Abu Kishk, highlighted the importance of this ranking as a significant milestone in the university's ongoing journey. He emphasized the institution's commitment to advancing its position among prestigious universities in the Arab world through comprehensive development strategies. Prof. Abu Kishk extended his congratulations to the university community for this achievement, which follows a series of global and regional successes. The QS rankings are based on various criteria, i ncluding the quality of education, scientific research, and academic reputation. Al-Quds University has reportedly made significant improvements in these areas, supported by a pioneering strategy and advanced vision across different fields. Furthermore, Palestine was recognized as the leading Arab country in the "Citation per Paper" criterion within the realm of scientific research, compared to "Papers per Faculty." This accomplishment highlights the quality of research in Palestinian universities and their contribution to the scientific community at both Arab and international levels. Notably, Al-Quds University not only secured the top spot in Palestine according to the QS World University Rankings 2025 but also achieved a global ranking within the 851-900 range. The university's MBA program was also recognized, ranking among the top 250 programs globally, making it the first and only university in Palestine to earn this distinction.
