Amman: The European Commission has processed a payment of £16 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), as part of its ongoing support to address the Palestinian humanitarian crisis. According to Jordan News Agency, this payment marks the third installment provided to the agency since the onset of 2024. The European Commission has committed a total of £82 million to UNRWA for the year, emphasizing its dedication to supporting the needs of Palestinian refugees amid ongoing regional challenges.
