KUWAIT CITY: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abbas Araghchi, announced on Tuesday that his visit to Kuwait would prioritize discussions on bilateral matters and regional developments. The visit underscores Iran's diplomatic engagement with Gulf states, amid ongoing regional tensions. According to Kuwait News Agency, Araghchi highlighted numerous areas of economic cooperation between Iran and the Gulf states, noting that the trade volume between these nations surpasses tens of billions of dollars. The minister's remarks signal a continued emphasis on strengthening economic ties within the region. Araghchi also addressed the situations in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, reiterating Iran's call for a comprehensive cessation of hostilities by the Israeli occupation.
