Korean and Jordanian Companies Discuss Collaborative Opportunities in Heavy Machinery Sector

AMMAN: A delegation of ten Korean companies specializing in heavy machinery engaged in discussions with over 30 Jordanian counterparts to explore collaboration opportunities and exchange expertise aimed at providing innovative solutions for significant projects in Jordan. According to Jordan News Agency, the Korea Trade Center in Jordan (KOTRA Jordan) issued a statement indicating that the visit by the Korean delegation seeks to enhance trade relations within a sector that requires advanced technology and specialized knowledge. The meeting signifies a strategic effort to deepen economic ties between Korea and Jordan. Mohammad Momani, General Manager of Hijaz Towers Communications and Power Systems, remarked on the increasing demand for Korean products in Jordan, noting that Korean machinery is regarded as a strong option due to its high quality and competitive pricing. This underscores the potential for Korean companies to expand their presence in the Jordanian market. Kim Jae-Ok, General Manager of Hong S ung Korean Company, highlighted the meetings' importance, expressing optimism about future cooperation. He acknowledged Jordan's significant potential in the heavy machinery sector and identified substantial opportunities for business expansion and the provision of technical solutions tailored to local market needs. Hannah Kim, Director of KOTRA Jordan, shared the positive outlook on Korean-Jordanian business relations. She emphasized that these meetings represent a crucial step in strengthening economic ties and underscored the importance of continued cooperation across various sectors, including technology and industry.
