Abu dhabi: The Department of Health - Abu Dhabi (DoH) has entered into a strategic partnership with Accenture, a global professional services company, to advance digital transformation within the healthcare sector. The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to bolster health data governance and improve patient outcomes in the Emirate by leveraging Accenture's expertise in data and artificial intelligence solutions. According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership will focus on enhancing healthcare services through the implementation of advanced data governance, AI advisory, and health data infrastructure. This initiative is part of DoH's commitment to fostering a data-driven and technologically advanced healthcare sector. The MoU was signed by Ibrahim Al Jallaf, Executive Director of Digital Health at DoH, and Nadya Abdulla Kamali, UAE Country Managing Director of Accenture, with Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Under-Secretary of DoH, in attendance. Ibrahim Al Jallaf emph asized the significance of the collaboration, stating that it marks a crucial step in improving digital healthcare outcomes in Abu Dhabi. By utilizing advanced data analytics and AI, the partnership seeks to optimize resource allocation and empower healthcare professionals, ensuring an agile and innovative healthcare ecosystem prepared for future challenges. The collaboration also aims to develop a sustainable, technology-enabled healthcare environment that focuses on the long-term well-being of community members across the Emirate. Both parties will implement robust data governance policies and processes to ensure effective data management and monitoring, adhering to high-quality standards across the sector.
