Marking World Polio Day, Al Owais stated, "The UAE is proud of its leading role in eradicating polio. Al Owais commended the recent initiative by the UAE President to allocate $5 million to a polio vaccination campaign in Gaza, demonstrating the country's dedication to addressing global humanitarian challenges. Furthermore, Al Owais assured that the UAE will persist in its national immunization campaigns against polio, ensuring comprehensive vaccination coverage through adherence to international health protocols.
