Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities and Human Fraternity Committee Sign Agreement to Enhance Humanitarian Initiatives

Abu dhabi: Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities and the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening their cooperation in training and education to promote the values of human fraternity, moderation, and tolerance. The agreement is designed to support both local and international communities and bolster the country's efforts in these areas. According to Emirates News Agency, the MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Rashed Al Hameli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities. The signatories included Dr. Khalid Ghanim Al Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, and Ahmed Saleh Al Humairi, Vice Chancellor of the University for Development and Investment. The agreement is expected to broaden cooperation and community partnership, particularly focusing on youth engagement. The terms of the MoU involve promoting the values and principles outlined in the Document on Human F raternity, supporting the Higher Committee in engaging with educational institutions at various levels, and organizing joint activities and events. The agreement also includes the exchange of information and trainers, as well as the development of an action plan to implement the MoU's objectives, with mechanisms to evaluate and improve outcomes. Regular sharing of reports on achievements towards shared goals is also part of the agreement. Dr. Al Hameli remarked that the MoU aligns with the directives of the UAE's leadership to promote human fraternity and supports the plans of the Higher Committee. He emphasized the university's commitment to initiatives that foster peace and brotherhood globally. Dr. Al Ghaith highlighted the importance of these initiatives in serving the community, especially the youth, and expanding the culture of human fraternity across different levels.
