TEHRAN: There were no attacks on military centers belonging to the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran, despite reports of explosions in the city, informed sources have confirmed. The explosions, heard early Saturday morning, were attributed to the Iranian Army's air defenses engaging with an Israeli military action in three locations around Tehran. According to National news agency - Lebanon, the sources clarified that no IRGC military centers in the western and southern parts of the Iranian capital were targeted. Despite the blasts, which were reported to have been heard west of Tehran, the situation in the city remains stable, particularly at major airports. The CEO of Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA), Saeed Chalandari, stated that the airport is operating under normal conditions without any security incidents. He affirmed that flights have been departing as scheduled from 5:30 AM local time, with no cancellations ordered. Similarly, Mehrabad Airport officials confirmed that there h ave been no disruptions to flight operations.
