Sharjah: Sharjah handball team officially won the UAE Cup for the seventh time in its history, defeating Al-Nasr 25-23 in the final match held at Sharjah Club. The team achieved this title with a perfect record of six victories in the tournament, which featured seven teams. Sharjah had secured the title in the previous round after beating Al-Wasl 33-22, then awaited the official crowning at the conclusion of the competition. According to Emirates News Agency, the champion team was awarded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Member of the Executive Council of Sharjah and Head of the Statistics and Community Development Department. The award ceremony also saw Nabil Ashour, President of the Handball Federation, and the presence of notable figures such as Khalid Issa Al-Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Club, Abdul Latif Nasser Al-Fardan, Member of the Sharjah Sports Council and Head of the Individual Sports Committee, Mohammed Obaid Al-Hossan, Member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Club and Head of th e Team Sports Department, as well as other board members.
