Beirut: The "Islamic Resistance" has announced a series of military actions targeting Israeli forces today, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict. In a statement released this afternoon, the group claimed responsibility for attacking an Israeli Merkava tank at Matla Gate using a guided missile at 03:05 p.m., resulting in the destruction of the tank and casualties among its crew. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, further communiques from the Islamic Resistance detailed additional strikes conducted earlier in the day. At noon, the fighters launched a missile salvo at a gathering of Israeli forces in Khallet al-Bardousheh near the al-Manara settlement. Another missile attack targeted enemy soldiers at the Zovulon Military Industries Base, located north of Haifa. The group emphasized that these actions were in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in defense of Lebanon and its citizens.
