Tyre: At approximately 3:05 pm on Thursday, Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike targeting the town of Kounine in the Bint Jbeil district. This was part of a series of military actions taken by the Israeli forces across southern Lebanon, which included missile attacks and artillery shelling in various towns. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the airstrikes coincided with missile launches containing cluster bombs aimed at the Wadi al-Khanazir area, located between Wadi Zawtar and the towns of Alman and al-Qaseer. In addition, the vicinity of the governmental hospital in the town of Tebnin was struck by an air raid, resulting in significant damage to the hospital infrastructure. Further reports indicate that the outskirts of the southern Lebanese towns of Zawtar al-Sharqiya and Yohmor al-Shaqif were subjected to artillery and cluster bomb attacks. Heavy machine gun fire was also recorded on the outskirts of Yaroun in the Bint Jbeil district, escalating the tension in the region. National News Agency correspondent highlighted that an air raid targeted the town of Deir Qanoun, Ras al-Ain. Meanwhile, intermittent shelling was reported in the southern Lebanese border town of Naqoura by the correspondent in Tyre.
