Lebanese Army Clears Northern Access Routes to Khiyam and Marjeyoun

BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army has announced ongoing efforts to clear debris and unexploded ordnance from roads leading to Khiyam and Marjayoun, following recent Israeli aggression. The clearance operations include key routes such as Naba Ibel, Al-Sharqi, and Hay Jabbali, aiming to secure safe access in the affected areas. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Army Command's Directorate of Guidance released a statement detailing that the operation is being carried out in coordination with the Quintet Committee for Monitoring the Ceasefire Mechanism. This initiative is a crucial part of the army's deployment strategy in the region, which seeks to restore stability and safety for residents. The statement highlighted the significant risks posed by unexploded ordnance and cautioned citizens against approaching the areas under operation. It further urged the public to adhere strictly to instructions issued by military units until the clearance and deployment efforts are fully completed.
