Beirut: MP Gebran Bassil emphasized the importance of forming a government of specialists representative of parliamentary forces following the 'Strong Lebanon' bloc's meeting with Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam at the parliament on Wednesday. Bassil highlighted the opportunity for establishing a new balance within the country, aiming for genuine partnership and reform.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Bassil urged unity around PM-designate Salam and President Joseph Aoun, stressing that exclusion or marginalization of any party would not be accepted. He clarified that the bloc did not make any specific demands of the Prime Minister regarding government formation. Instead, the focus remains on supporting the creation of a government composed of specialists that mirrors the composition of parliamentary forces.
