Cairo: Dozens of trucks carrying humanitarian aid have started entering Gaza from Egypt, marking a significant development in the ongoing relief efforts. Sky News Arabia reported that 95 trucks have crossed the Kerem Shalom crossing to deliver essential supplies to the Gaza Strip.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the aid convoy includes a variety of essential commodities. Among these, 9 trucks are carrying fuel, 3 trucks are loaded with gas, 3 with gasoline, and another 3 with diesel. This convoy forms part of a larger humanitarian effort aimed at providing much-needed resources to the region.
In addition to the trucks that have already entered, hundreds more are positioned at the Rafah land crossing on the Egyptian side. These trucks are awaiting clearance to proceed into the Gaza Strip, underscoring the scale of the relief operation currently underway.
Israel's Channel 12 has indicated that over 500 aid trucks are expected to enter the Gaza Strip in the near future. This influx of aid is anticipated to provide substantial support to the local population, addressing critical shortages in the area.
