Beirut: Spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas," Jihad Taha, emphasized that the return of displaced Lebanese to their villages and towns in the south demonstrates the determination and will of the Lebanese people to reclaim their rights and uphold their connection to their land and homeland, Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Taha remarked on the persistence of the Lebanese in returning despite challenges, and condemned the actions of the occupation which have led to the destruction of southern villages and towns, and targeted those returning. He highlighted the solidarity and support for the Lebanese people and their resistance, underscoring the strong relationship between the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples.
Taha urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities, cease the crimes and violations committed by the occupation, and ensure its withdrawal from Lebanese territory.
