Tel Aviv: The Israeli Forces announced on Wednesday that they successfully thwarted an overnight attempt to smuggle weapons into Israel from Egypt using a drone.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the drone was detected as it crossed the border from Egypt into Israeli territory. Troops were dispatched to the scene and managed to shoot down the drone.
The soldiers discovered that the drone was carrying 13 assault rifles, as reported by the IDF.
