Army Raids Homes of Wanted Individuals in Hermel and Akkar

Beirut: Units of the Lebanese army, in cooperation with patrols from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the homes of wanted persons in the towns of Al-Qasr (Hermel) and Al-Asfouriyeh (Akkar), and seized a large quantity of missiles, hand grenades, firearms, and ammunition.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the coordinated operation aimed to apprehend individuals linked to ongoing investigations and to dismantle illegal arms networks in these regions. The raids resulted in the confiscation of various types of military-grade weapons, which are believed to have been used in past criminal activities.

The Lebanese army has intensified its operations in these areas following an increase in security incidents reported over the past few months. The successful seizure of weapons is considered a significant step toward restoring safety and order in the affected regions.
