According to National News Agency - Lebanon, al-Hajjar articulated a message of unity and reform, stating, "There is a new mandate in Lebanon that has pledged to the Lebanese and the entire world to rescue and reform." He stressed Lebanon's integral relationship with the Arab world, proclaiming that, "Lebanon cannot live outside its Arab embrace. You are its support and it is your support."
Al-Hajjar described Lebanon as a nation rich in history and culture, "a cradle of civilizations, an incubator of religions, a source of competencies, and a preserver of friendships." Despite the nation's historical and cultural wealth, he expressed concern over Lebanon's current economic and financial crisis, citing it as "unparalleled in the world," and highlighted the ongoing challenges in the southern regions due to Israeli occupation.
