Minister of Culture Receives Donation from South Korean Government for National Museum Cooling System

Beirut: The Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salam©, received a significant donation from the South Korean government for the National Museum. This donation, aimed at preserving valuable artifacts, was delivered by the South Korean Ambassador to Lebanon, Il Park, during a meeting held at the National Library in Sanayeh. The meeting was attended by the Director General of Antiquities, Engineer Sarkis Khoury, and the International Advisor, Engineer Jad Tabet.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Ambassador's visit was part of his efforts to congratulate Minister Salam© on his new position and to wish him success. Ambassador Park presented an official letter from the South Korean government, announcing the donation of a cooling system for the museum. This initiative is intended to help maintain the integrity of the museum's collection of artifacts and archaeological finds.

The South Korean Ambassador emphasized the importance of the relationship between his country and Lebanon, expressing a commitment to enhancing mutual cooperation in cultural fields. He noted that South Korea has previously participated in numerous cultural programs in Lebanon and looks forward to further collaborative efforts that benefit both nations.

Minister Salam© expressed gratitude to the South Korean government for their generous donation. He also shared hopes for continued collaboration between Lebanon and South Korea across various cultural sectors.
