Beirut: Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, is set to launch the Digital Gates project at Rafic Hariri International Airport. This initiative is a collaborative effort with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and receives support from the German Federal Police. The launch event will take place at the Eastern Wing, Terminal 3, and will see attendance from notable dignitaries including Danish Ambassador Christopher Vik, Acting German Ambassador Katharina Lack, and IOM Lebanon Head Matthew Luciano.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the day will also feature a significant cooperation agreement signing between the Arab Banking Union and ReSecurity. This agreement aims to enhance the protection of information and websites for Arab banks and financial institutions. The signing ceremony is scheduled to occur at the Arab Banking Union headquarters in Clemenceau.
Later in the day, a Quran recitation session will be held in honor of martyrs. This session is organized by the Guidance and Orientation Committee of the Amal Movement in collaboration with the "Quran for Guidance and Orientation" Association. The event is to take place at the Mosque and Islamic Call College Complex in Beirut, Berr Hassan, near the Kuwaiti Embassy.
