Beirut: Labor Minister Dr. Mohammad Haidar chaired a meeting of the Index Committee to discuss wages and salaries in both the public and private sectors at the Ministry of Labor in Chiyah-Msharrafieh.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting aimed to address ongoing concerns surrounding compensation, reflecting the government's focus on economic stabilization and workforce satisfaction. Discussions were held with the intention of formulating strategies to enhance wage structures in line with economic conditions.
Simultaneously, a roundtable on Digital Transformation in Public Administration took place at ESA Business School. This event featured Minister of State for Administrative Reform Fadi Makki, Minister of State for IT and AI Kamal Chahadeh, and MP Tony Frangieh, among others. The session highlighted the importance of integrating technology into public services.
Later in the day, a press conference was held for the Beauty and Wellness Forum 2025 under the patronage of the Ministries of Information and Economy. This event saw participation from Dr. Mohammad Abu Haidar and Dr. Youssef Bakhash, along with the Women Leaders Association, focusing on developments in the beauty and wellness sectors.
In addition, the Francophone Women Leaders Foundation was introduced at a press conference at Tele Liban HQ. The event, under the patronage of the Ministry of Information, included attendance from Minister Paul Morcos and Tunisian Ambassador Braoui El Imam.
