Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Wednesday welcomed the economic advisor to the French presidential envoy to Lebanon, Jacques de La Goj¨ge, at the Grand Serail. The meeting was part of a delegation focused on preparations for a reconstruction conference that France plans to host this year.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Prime Minister Salam emphasized the urgency of organizing the conference promptly. Discussions also included Lebanon's current economic and financial challenges and the reform measures that the government has initiated to address these issues.
In another meeting, Salam engaged with Kuwaiti businessman Bader Al-Kharafi. Their discussions centered on investment opportunities in Lebanon, especially in light of the new governmental steps aimed at boosting and attracting investments. Prime Minister Salam expressed appreciation for the strong and friendly relations between Lebanon and Kuwait.
Additionally, the Prime Minister held talks with Najad Fares, Vice Chair of the American Task Force for Lebanon, further highlighting the collaborative efforts towards Lebanon's economic development.
