Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with Bader Al-Kharafi, Chairman of the Al-Kharafi Group, at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El Tineh. The discussions focused on the Lebanese-Kuwaiti relations and explored ways to strengthen ties across various sectors.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri later held a meeting with MP Jihad Al-Samad, head of the Defense, Interior and Municipalities Parliamentary Committee. They discussed the latest political developments, upcoming municipal and mayoral elections, and legislative affairs. MP Al-Samad commented on their comprehensive discussion on local, regional, and international issues.
In the afternoon, Speaker Berri received Talal Arslan, head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, alongside the party's Poliburol member, former Minister Saleh al-Gharib. The meeting concentrated on the latest political and field developments.
