Army Chief Engages in Strategic Talks with Canadian Ambassador and UNODC’s Cristina Albertin

Yarzeh: Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haikal, on Wednesday met with the Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Stefanie McCollum, and the Canadian Military Attach© in Lebanon, Lieutenant Colonel Jawad Al-Khairy, at his office in Yarzeh. The meeting focused on exploring avenues for cooperation between the military forces of Canada and Lebanon, as well as discussing the prevailing situation in Lebanon and the broader region.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, General Haikal also held discussions with Cristina Albertin, the Regional Representative for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), who was accompanied by a delegation. The talks with Albertin reportedly covered various matters of mutual interest, although specific details were not disclosed.
