Amchit: Former President Michel Sleiman, after casting his vote in Amchit, stressed that "elections represent freedom and democracy, and citizens must choose their future through the municipal council."
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Sleiman also said, "I support change in Amchit, which is represented by the electoral Hope List." The former president added: "The voter has the final say, as they are the source of authority," hoping that voters will wisely choose their representatives.
