Beirut: Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny on Tuesday held a series of meetings focused on regional development, infrastructure, and institutional cooperation. Rasamny engaged with various officials to discuss key issues impacting local communities, emphasizing road maintenance and stormwater drainage systems.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Rasamny separately welcomed MPs from the 'Loyalty to the Resistance' bloc, including Hassan Fadlallah, Hussein Al-Jashi, and Ali Ammar, along with Mohammad Dirgham, President of the Federation of Municipalities of Beirut's Southern Suburbs. The group focused on local development needs critical to their constituencies.
Rasamny also convened with 'Strong Republic' bloc MP Antoine Habchi to assess infrastructure conditions in the Northern and Eastern Bekaa, highlighting the necessity for strategic improvements in these regions.
In another meeting, Rasamny met with Lebanese University President Dr. Bassam Badran. Their discussions revolved around enhancing collaboration between the university and the ministry to improve sectors under its jurisdiction.
Earlier, Rasamny held talks with Antonio Vincenti, Chairman of the Board at Picasso Advertising, to review regulatory and professional matters related to the advertising sector and explore avenues for coordination.
