President Joseph Aoun Engages in Political and Educational Discussions with MPs and University Delegation

Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, conducted a series of significant political and educational meetings at the Baabda presidential palace on Tuesday.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun met with MP Alain Aoun to discuss the general situation of the country, current developments, and to assess municipal and mayoral elections. The dialogue aimed at reviewing the political landscape and potential future challenges.

In further political engagements, President Aoun held discussions with MP Edgar Traboulsi and Elie Moussalli, focusing on educational and national issues. These conversations highlighted the importance of addressing educational strategies alongside broader national concerns.

President Aoun also welcomed General Sir Nick Carter, Strategic Counsellor to the Tony Blair Institute, along with Nicolas Dunais, the Institute's Regional Director. The delegation provided insights into the Institute's efforts in offering studies and strategies for investment opportunities, governance, and collaboration with countries to enhance organizational frameworks.

Additionally, the President received a delegation from Haigazian University, led by Dr. Paul Haidostian. The visit marked the University's diamond jubilee, celebrating its 70th founding anniversary, and underscored the institution's continued commitment to educational excellence.
