Army Command Condemns Israeli Attacks, Threatens Ceasefire Monitoring Cooperation Suspension

Beirut: The Army Command's Orientation Directorate has condemned recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon, noting an escalation in aggression targeting citizens, residential areas, and infrastructure across various regions. The Directorate highlighted the latest incidents, which include strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and areas in the south, alongside the ongoing occupation of Lebanese territories. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Israeli actions have evolved into daily breaches of Lebanon's sovereignty, openly ignoring the established ceasefire mechanism and the Cessation of Hostilities Monitoring Committee's efforts. The Army Command warned that continued disregard for these protocols might lead to a suspension of cooperation with the monitoring committee, signaling a serious potential shift in regional stability efforts.
