Beirut: Prime Minister Nawwaf Salam announced on X Platform that he welcomes the World Bank Board of Directors' approval of the Lebanon Emergency and Resilience Project (LEAP), valued at $250 million.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam described the initiative as 'a key step in reconstruction by addressing damage to vital infrastructure and essential services in areas affected by the war.' The Prime Minister emphasized that this support 'bolsters recovery efforts within a state-led implementation framework and opens the door to much-needed additional financing.'
