Geagea emphasized the necessity for the Prime Minister to promptly convene the cabinet to deliberate on Barrack's proposals, ensuring that discussions occur in a formal setting with full ministerial attendance to establish an official constitutional stance.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Geagea warned that the current decisions being made are pivotal for Lebanon's future, cautioning that any misstep by key officials could lead the nation into significant turmoil, resulting in stagnation, paralysis, or gradual decline. He expressed concerns that Hezbollah's actions, driven by its ideological convictions and external affiliations, are exacerbating the country's challenges.
Geagea urged the Council of Ministers and the Parliament to take decisive action during these critical times to prevent further instability and uncertainty in the country. He stressed the importance of not squandering opportunities that could otherwise lead Lebanon out of its current state of crisis.
