PM Nawaf Salam Emphasizes Reform and Recovery in Parliamentary Address

Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam delivered the government's address during a general parliamentary session, responding to questions posed by Members of Parliament regarding the government's overarching policies.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the session was specifically convened to allow MPs to question the government about its general policies. In his address, Premier Salam reaffirmed his administration's commitment to pursuing reforms and achieving national recovery. He emphasized the government's dedication to mobilizing both Arab and international support, aiming to apply pressure on Israel to withdraw from Lebanese territory and cease its attacks.

Premier Salam acknowledged the significant responsibilities faced by his administration and expressed determination to continue upholding these duties. "There is no doubt our responsibility is great, and we are determined to continue shouldering it. Our government's program is reform-driven, and we face inherited obstacles and impediments," he stated, highlighting the challenges ahead.
