Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday received a delegation from the General Labor Confederation at Baabda Palace. The meeting aimed to address the confederation's strike demands and seek effective outcomes. The President assured the delegation that he would prioritize the issue and include it in the agenda of the Cabinet session set to occur tomorrow in Baabda.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the delegation announced their decision to suspend the strike. This move is intended as a positive gesture to enable the addressing of their demands. The suspension reflects a willingness to cooperate and engage in constructive discussions to resolve the ongoing issues.
