Berri Mourns Ziad Rahbani: Melody Sad, Lyrics Broken

Beirut: Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri mourned today the loss of Lebanon's valued artist Ziad Rahbani. He expressed his sorrow by stating, "Lebanon without Ziad - the melody is sad, the words are broken, and the black curtain falls on an immortal Rahbani humanitarian, cultural, artistic, and patriotic chapter."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri extended his condolences to the legendary Fairuz, the Rahbani family, and all Lebanese citizens. He honored Ziad Rahbani as a creative artist who captured the essence of a beautiful Lebanon. Berri praised Rahbani's ability to transform Lebanon into a poem, a tune, and a song, reflecting the nation's spirit and cultural heritage. In his message, Berri bid farewell to Ziad Rahbani, acknowledging his significant contributions to the country's artistic landscape.
