Beirut: Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah affirmed that the Kingdom's presidency, in partnership with France, of the international conference to resolve the Palestinian issue through peaceful solutions and the implementation of the two-state solution, stems from the Kingdom's firm position on Palestine and is a continuation of its efforts to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace that guarantees the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, according to "WAFA" news agency.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Saudi Foreign Minister explained that the conference supports the efforts of the international coalition to implement the two-state solution launched by the Saudi Kingdom, the Kingdom of Norway, and the European Union in September 2024. It complements the efforts of the Joint Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee aimed at ending the suffering of the Palestinian people, enabling them to regain their legitimate rights, and achieving comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in the Middle East.
