Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, on Thursday received the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, with whom he discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and Syria.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Plasschaert briefed Minister Raggi on the contacts she is conducting in the region to achieve calm and stability. Minister Raggi also met with a delegation from the World Lebanese Cultural University (WLCU), headed by its global president, Roger Hani. The discussion reportedly touched on Diaspora affairs.
The delegation stressed the Lebanese expatriates' commitment to their right to vote for the 128 representatives, contributing not only to Lebanon's economic recovery but also to building the legislative authority.
