Beirut: Minister of Economy and Trade, Amer Bisat, on Tuesday stated on platform X that Lebanon's economic recovery hinges on achieving political and security clarity. 'Ending hostilities, securing the borders, curbing the informal economy, and consolidating all arms and security responsibilities under official state institutions are preconditions, without which it will be difficult to emerge from our economic crisis,' Bisat wrote.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Bisat emphasized that these measures are vital to restoring confidence, reintegrating Lebanon into the Arab economic sphere, attracting capital inflows, encouraging the return of Lebanese talent, and securing funding for reconstruction.
