Boustani Announces Formal Handover of Deir El-Qamar Hospital and Emphasizes Anti-Corruption Efforts

Baabda: Following his meeting with President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, at Baabda Palace on Wednesday, MP Farid Boustani announced that a meeting will be held today at the Ministry of Public Health to formalize the handover of the Deir El-Qamar Governmental Hospital from the Council for Development and Reconstruction to the ministry. Aoun stressed the importance of completing this process without delay, calling the hospital 'a rightful entitlement for the people of the region.'

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Boustani praised the President's performance on anti-corruption, noting its alignment with the priorities of the Parliamentary Economic Committee and the President's oath of office focused on state-building. The lawmaker also discussed the unresolved depositors' crisis, reaffirming his support for those who 'have endured grave injustice.'

On the economic front, Boustani noted visible improvement, describing the summer period as economically positive despite recent security tensions, with expectations for further financial stabilization in the coming months.
