Baabda: Minister of Education, Rima Karami, on Wednesday briefed President Joseph Aoun on the ongoing preparations for the upcoming academic year, during a meeting at Baabda Palace.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Karami clarified that the continuation of the four-day school week in public education remains in effect as per last year's policy, expressing hope that this will be the final year such a measure is required.
The Minister also affirmed that efforts are underway to revise teachers' salaries and implement a comprehensive plan to address the sector's financial and structural challenges.
