Beirut: House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday met with a delegation from the Arqoub Committee, led by Dr. Mohammad Hamdan, at the second presidential palace in Ain al-Tineh. The meeting addressed general developments and issues related to the region's infrastructure and services.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Dr. Hamdan emphasized their commitment to Berri's roadmap for Lebanon's salvation, particularly the need to liberate all occupied Lebanese territories, including Shebaa Farms, Kfarshouba Hills, and northern Ghajar.
Berri affirmed his firm stance on liberating every inch of Lebanese land. The delegation also urged the creation of a national body to address the issue of occupied territories.
In the afternoon, Berri met with Charles Arbid, head of the Economic and Social Council, with whom he discussed Lebanon's economic situation.
