Beirut: Justice Minister, Dr. Adel Nassar, on Friday received in his office at the ministry, US Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson, who paid him a farewell visit upon the end of her diplomatic mission in Lebanon. Minister Nassar expressed his deep appreciation for the support the Ambassador provided during the most difficult times the country passed through, hailing her diplomatic composure, courage, and sense of responsibility throughout her tenure.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was an opportunity for both parties to reflect on the collaboration and partnership that marked Ambassador Johnson's term. The Justice Minister commended the Ambassador's efforts in strengthening bilateral relations and her commitment to fostering dialogue and cooperation between the United States and Lebanon. Ambassador Johnson expressed her gratitude for the hospitality and cooperation she received during her time in Lebanon.
