Beirut: Oil prices in Lebanon recorded a new decline today, with LBP 13,000 off the price of 95-octane gasoline, LBP 12,000 off 98-octane gasoline, and LBP 4,000 off diesel, while the price of a gas cylinder rose by LBP 19,000. The new prices are as follows: 95-octane gasoline is now LBP 1,468,000, 98-octane gasoline is LBP 1,508,000, diesel is LBP 1,375,000, and a gas cylinder is LBP 1,115,000.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, this adjustment in oil prices comes amidst fluctuating economic conditions that impact the cost of fuel and energy resources in the region. The decrease in gasoline and diesel prices offers some relief to consumers, but the rise in the cost of gas cylinders may offset these benefits for households relying on gas for cooking and heating.
