Ehden: Minister of Tourism, Laura Lahoud, on Monday visited Ehden Nature Reserve, where she was received by Zgharta-Ehden Mayor Pierre Zakhia Douaihy, Reserve Director Sandra Koussa Saba, members of the municipal council, and staff of the reserve.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Lahoud stopped at the Ain el-Bayyad station, one of the reserve's main entrances, where she met visitors from various Lebanese regions and discussed their impressions and experiences. She was briefed on the reserve's action plan, upcoming projects, and its significance as a scientific and ecological laboratory.
At the end of the visit, the minister was presented with a cedar sapling from the reserve's nursery as a symbolic gesture of appreciation.
