Beirut: MP Qassem Hashem, member of the ‘Development and Liberation’ parliamentary bloc, condemned the killing of two Lebanese citizens in Shebaa, calling it further proof of Israel’s ongoing aggression despite the ceasefire agreement.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Hashem criticized the international mechanism and its committee for failing to take a firm stance, accusing them of inaction in the face of repeated violations.
Hashem emphasized the urgent need for national unity, warning that internal division paves the way for further breaches and instability. He stressed that protecting Lebanon’s sovereignty is a collective responsibility.
