Beirut: Deputy Speaker of Parliament Elias Bou Saab on Wednesday received French Presidential Envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian at the Parliament, accompanied by French Ambassador to Lebanon Herv© Magro and an accompanying delegation. Talks reportedly focused on the current situation in Lebanon, the ongoing Israeli threats, and the possibility of securing serious, actionable solutions to prevent further escalation.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions aimed to address the heightened tensions in the region, with both parties seeking diplomatic avenues to mitigate potential conflicts. Le Drian's visit is part of a broader effort by the French government to mediate and provide support in resolving regional disputes involving Lebanon.
