Beirut: The Minister of Culture, Ghassan Salam©, hosted a meeting with Christian Masset, the Director of the Network of Secular French Missions and former French Ambassador, at the National Library in Sanayeh. The meeting, attended by the mission's representative in Beirut, Ms. Andr©e Daouk, concentrated on the mission's activities in Lebanon and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Ambassador Masset expressed his pleasure in meeting Mr. Salam©, whom he recognized from previous international engagements. He described Salam© as a significant figure on the international platform and highlighted the meeting as an opportunity to delve into the mission of the French Secular Mission in Lebanon. Discussions centered on the prominent role of its institutions and potential collaborations aimed at fostering Lebanon's prosperity and development, noting that the Lebanese experience serves as an inspiration for similar institutions globally.
Ambassador Masset emphasized that the institutions in Lebanon play a crucial role in education, benefiting both French and Lebanese communities through the established relationship between the two countries.
