Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Thursday received a delegation of the American Task Force for Lebanon (ATFL), headed by Ambassador Edward Gabriel, in the presence of U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between Lebanon and the United States. The discussions focused on various aspects of cooperation and support, with a particular emphasis on economic development and regional stability.
The ATFL delegation expressed its commitment to continue supporting Lebanon through various initiatives and programs. Ambassador Gabriel highlighted the importance of collaboration in addressing the challenges faced by Lebanon, especially in the economic sector.
Prime Minister Salam acknowledged the significance of the U.S. support and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the ATFL and the U.S. government. He emphasized the need for continued partnership to achieve mutual goals and foster stability in the region.
