Bahrain Leadership Engages in International Diplomacy and Domestic Initiatives

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King issued Decree (75) of 2025 and extended congratulations to the President of Cuba and the Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council. Additionally, His Majesty exchanged New Year wishes with global leaders, emphasizing Bahrain's diplomatic engagement on the international stage. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issued Edict (80) of 2025. Furthermore, HRH ordered an increase in financial support for low-income families, a measure set to take effect in January 2026. In parallel, HRH extended congratulations to the President of the Republic of Cuba and the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of the Sudan, mirroring the King's diplomatic outreach. The Deputy Prime Minister chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects, underscoring Bahrain's focus on infrastruct ural development. The Deputy Prime Minister also marked the planting of the 191,000th tree, as Bahrain surpassed its annual afforestation target for 2025. The Foreign Minister met with heads of overseas diplomatic missions to discuss Bahrain's membership in the UN Security Council, highlighting the country's proactive role in international affairs.
