Crown Prince of Bahrain Meets US Central Command Commander to Discuss Bilateral Relations

Riffa: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, met with Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper II, the Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), during the Admiral's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain at Riffa Palace.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasized the strength of the historic relations between Bahrain and the United States and the ongoing development of these ties across various sectors. The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening the bilateral partnership, with a particular focus on military and defense cooperation.

His Royal Highness stressed the strategic significance of enhancing existing collaboration and agreements, highlighting the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA) as a key area of focus. The discussions also covered the latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, and HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.
